“I really think your face is going to annoy me right now”

From talented independent filmmaker Lynn Shelton (Humpday, Sword of Trust), who we tragically lost far too early this year, Your Sister’s Sister is a warm and witty tale of grief, romance and sibling rivalry. A year after his brother Tom’s death, Jack (Mark Duplass) is an emotionally unstable slacker. Concerned for his wellbeing, Tom’s ex-girlfriend Iris (Emily Blunt) offers up her family cabin on an island in the Pacific Northwest for Jack to restore his spirits. Once there, however, he runs into Iris’ sister Hannah (Rosemarie DeWitt), who is reeling from a recent break-up and finds solace in Tom’s unexpected presence. With tremendous performances from its star indie cast, this is a poignant exploration of the complexities of interpersonal relationships.
